Mixed Race Mama – the Podcast

Given how much I love to chat and never run out of things to say it was only a matter of time before I started a podcast!

It took me a while to figure out how to use a podcast in a way where I could give you something more, or different. So here it is……I wanted to use the podcast to really connect with you. Just to chat and share some of the bits and pieces that we would natter about if were having a catch up on the phone. So consider this podcast a voicenote from me to you. A way for me to check with you and share some of the day-to-day Mixed race problems. That’s what your Mixed Bestie would do – share that micro-aggression that happened at the supermarket or that awkward interaction with a new co-worker. It doesn’t deserve it’s own Insta post or newsletter segment….but it happened, and it bothered me; and there aren’t many people who can understand that like you do.

Whilst these smaller episdoes will always be free, if you are a Patreon subscriber you can get access to exclusive podcast episodes. These will include exclusive content like recordings of my spoken word poetry and personal memories of my lived experiences. To find out more please click here

I’ve just wrapped on season one of Mixed Race Mama, The Podcast and it was a wild ride. I’ve learned so much along the way, I hope you have enjoyed my mini messages. Season Two will be coming soon, the format will stay the same but we are taking it back to basics in 2024….stay tuned!

If you enjoy listening to me, love a good cup of tea and want to support more mixed people then you might like one of my other. podcasts…..Matcha, Masala & Murder.

We are just a couple of mixed mates musing over matcha, masala & murder! Your blended besties spilling the tea. You can find us on YouTube, Spotify and wherever you get your podcasts.

Along with my co-host, award-winning Mixed race podcaster, Sharmane Fury, we are excited to bring you a weekly true crime podcast with our very special blend of added cultural spice.

You will not have heard these true crime stories before and we are so proud to shine a light on lesser-told stories from across the world and shine a light on the historical plight of women within the world of true crime.

Plus – if you love a nice cuppa then there’s lots of tea related goodness too. So why not pop the kettle on and give us a listen.
